Are there any other homeschoolers out there? My kids are 19 and 22, so I'm 'retired', as it were, but still available for ear-bending.

I'm not a homeschooler, but we're looking into doing some "extra curricular" educating of my soon-to-be 8th grader. He's in Geometry for 8th grade and wants to take an ecology and a Japanese course to supplement his regular studies, but he can't get the ecology or Japanese at his middle school. So, we're looking for resources to help him out that will also give him credit at his school.
Is there somewhere that is affordable that I might be able to find something for him? I've looked into K12, but quite frankly, we just can't afford that. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. |
